Bird of Paradise / L'oiseau de Paradis

Amazing extra large format art deco style poster from the first release in 1932 for this Dolores Del Rio Pacific classic. Scandalous in its day, this was one of the last pre-code movies (before the Hays Code banned nudity and lascivious behaviour), featuring numerous scenes in which Dolores was wearing almost nothing but a grass skirt and one swimming scene in which she was completely naked. Both film and poster were very much a product of the time showing Hollywood as its sexiest and most glamorous. Folded in excellent condition.
