Blow-Up (full set of three small format)
Stunning set of three Italian posters from the first release of Antonioni's seminal 1960's film set in the world of fashion photography in London during the swinging 60's. The main character was loosely based upon superstar photographer David Bailey and the film caused a sensation when it was released. This particular image is particularly iconic and the most sought after of any design as well as being a partial 'country-of-origin' poster from this anglo-italian production. Although the red version was printed in large numbers for general release, a very, very small number of green and yellow versions were printed to create a triptych as a nod to the dark room production processes that were central to the film plot. These three are linen backed in excellent condition ready to display. Full sets of these posters only come up for sale once a decade making this a very rare opportunity.
