Carry on Abroad

The gang go on holiday to the Spanish resort of Elsbels. One of the best of the Carry On series, Carry On Abroad was sharply scripted with little of the double entendre humour that was to characterise later films. Set in the context of the early seventies, when the package holiday boom to Spain and the Mediterranean was just starting, this can also be seen as social commentary as much as a classic period comedy. From the first release in Australia, folded in generally excellent condition, it does have scattered pinoles and some minor edge repairs but these are difficult to see and the poster presents very well.
