Downhill Racer
The US style A one sheet poster for Downhill Racer is a superb and clever piece of graphic design, juxtaposing a tiny skier against the vastness of the ski slopes symbolised by the protagonists' heads. Often viewed simply as a superior sports movie and the best skiing film ever, many view Robert Redford's brooding performance as the finest of his career. It was certainly the experience that led him to establish the Sundance Film Festival and promote more intelligent, more sensitive films to the general public. This is from the 1969 first release, linen backed in excellent condition.
