Sound of Speed
Bruce Kessler directed this 1962 documentary following Lance Reventlow and his Formula one Scarab racing cars. The son of heiress Barbara Hutton and stepson of Cary Grant, Reventlow was a talented driver who mixed with the Hollywood set. He was one of the last people to speak to James Dean before his death on his way to the same race meeting that Reventlow was attending and he married and divorced actress Jill St John. As with all documentaries, the original print run was short and this is a very rare survivor, linen backed in excellent condition with some airbrushing to the white background only.
