Star Wars (pre-oscars)

This is the super rare pre-oscars version of the sought after UK quad with the Chantrell artwork. George Lucas commissioned leading UK artist Tom Chantrell to create this design, which also ran as the US style 'C' design. This particular poster was printed for the first release of the film in 1977 before it won any Oscars. Subsequent printings carried the news of the Oscars success so this is the one that the collectors want. Linen backed in excellent condition.
