Said to be George Lucas' favourite poster design (the original artwork, by Drew Struzan and Charlie White, hangs in his house), the style D was created in the early summer of 1978 to breath some new life into the film's first release (which had been running for several months by this time). There are many bootlegs of the standard style D but none of this particular variation, produced to promote the soundtrack. This is a guaranteed genuine studio issued poster, linen backed in excellent condition. Prior to backing this was a mint rolled poster.
