Sale of One Owner Collection with a lot of ultra-rare Hammer and James Bond

We’re pleased to present something a little different this month. This is a consignment sale from a single owner with a lot of great material and it’s all priced to sell. Some of it is very rare indeed, including a selection of UK Double Crowns (DC’s) that only come up for sale once in a decade.

The owner, an avid film fan, started collecting in the 1960’s when he was advertising his business at his local cinema. Those of us who are old enough will remember the Pearl and Dean adverts that ran before the main feature or between films in a double bill, promoting local shops, restaurants and business, typically “just around the corner from this cinema”. This relationship with his cinema manager provided him with a wealth of posters over many years. And make no mistake, some of this is very rare stuff.
