Tom and Jerry (Addio Gattaccio Crudele)

The 1972 Italian Tom & Jerry cat-and-mouse chase animated cartoon comedy short compilation. Note that this poster is far more violent (and far more true to the spirit of the actual cartoons!) than the bland U.S. posters from the same time period! Note that Tom and Jerry is a classic series of cartoons created by William Hanna and Joeseph Barbera. The first one was created in 1940, and there as a total of 114 cartoons through 1957. Seven of these won Academy Awards for Best Cartoon, tying for most wins with Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies. This is from the first release of this compilation movie from 1972 in Italy, folded as issued. This poster would display well as it is or would be an excellent candidate for linen backing to look great.
