The cast list for this film is a roll call of British acting royalty from the time – Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Peter O'Toole and Glynis Johns star in this English life-in-a-small-fishing-village comedy based on the Dylan Thomas play. Folded in excellent condition, it has been cropped to 40" x 28" for use on the London Underground system. During the 70's and 80's, quads were routinely cut down in this way because the size of the hoardings used were different to the 40"x30" used at the cinema. This led to a change in the way UK quads were designed with artists routinely making the top few inches of the poster blank in order not to lose any artwork when it was cropped down. In the case of this particular poster, only the blank orange header was removed.
