Full page trade ad on the front of Kine Weekly, the main British trade magazine for the UK cinema industry, to promote the release of this classic Carry on movie. N.B. this ad features the straight gun barrel that prompted legal action from teh James Bond franchise for breach of copyright for use of the classic Bond pose from the recently released From Russia with Love quad poster. The ad was altered to feature a bent gun barrel but the publicity and the link to the Bond film was a PR success story worth a small fortune. Dated 9/7/64, this is the complete original magazine in excellent condition.
