Downhill Racer
The rare Australian 1 sheet uses the same art as the US style B poster and is particularly sought after by skiing enthusiasts. Often viewed simply as a superior sports movie and the best skiing film ever, many view Robert Redford's brooding performance as the finest of his career. It was certainly the experience that led him to establish the Sundance Film Festival and promote more intelligent, more sensitive films to the general public. This is from the 1969 first release in Australia. It has a little foxing (small rust coloured spots) to due age but these do not detract from the overall presentation.
