Super rare screen printed small format Double Crown (DC) poster from the first release. Classic Bob Peak artwork makes this a classic poster as well as an oscar winning film. These posters were produced in very small numbers by the ABC cinema chain (screen print runs are typically a couple of hundred compared to runs of 5,000 for offset litho printed quads) and are consequently very rare indeed. This particular showing was some time after the film had won the oscar and the prices had been temporarily increased due to exceptional demand (surge pricing existed in those days too) when the prices were reduced to normal levels again. Rolled in excellent condition with just a tiny mark denying it a mint grade.
