Outlaw
Officially, the outlaw may have been the story of Billy the Kid but the reality was that this was all about Jane Russell's on screen sexuality. Howard Hughes directed the film that became notorious for Jane's cleavage and the struggle that Hughes had with the censors. First shown in 1943, it was immediately pulled from the screens. A second release in 1946 was also short lived so the first major release was in 1950 by which time the notoriety ensured its success. This is the title lobby card from the 1950 release.
