Saturday Night & Sunday Morning
The movie that made Albert Finney a star is both a cinematic gem and an important british film. Written by Alan Silitoe and directed by Karel Reisz, it hit the audience like a bomb-shell due to its frank portrayal of life, sex and double standards in the late 50's. A landmark film for many reasons. This is from the first release in Belgium in 1960, lightly folded in excellent condition with a tax stamp.
