Said to be George Lucas' favourite poster design (the original artwork, by Drew Struzan and Charlie White, hangs in his house), the style D was created in the early summer of 1978 to breath some new life into the film's first release (which had been running for several months by this time). There are several authorised reprints of this poster that are often mistaken for genuine first release style 'D' posters - this is not one of them. This is a guaranteed genuine, cinema used poster in excellent condition, folded in excellent condition.
