Two down-on-their-luck actors (Richard E Grant, Paul Mcgann) find solace in drink and other substances. Seeking respite from their uneventful lives they escape up north to Penrith to Withnail's uncle's stone cottage. This poster is from the film's first release and features the much sought after artwork by Ralph Steadman This particular copy has two rectangular tape burns in the upper corners which are not immediately obvious as they blend in with the patinated toilet wall design. The rest of the poster is in superb folded condition.
