2001: A Space Odyssey (style B lenticular)
This rare lenticular postcard was created as a promotional item for Stanley Kubrick's sci-fi masterpiece. Lenticular technology was making a comeback in the mid-1960s and "2001" was one of the only films to use this creative three-dimensional technology in a major ad campaign. This lenticular image was printed by Toppan (which were known for their fine lenses) in Japan, and was used in the Cinerama release of the film.
