Phantom of the Circus (1960) - Original UK quad Movie Poster

About this poster

Original Phantom of the Circus (1960) movie poster. Format: UK quad 40"x30". Grade: Very Good/Fine.

Also released under the title Circus of Horrors, this British made film had a gloriously over the top plot. In 1947 England, a plastic surgeon becomes the owner of the circus, and transforms disfigured women into the beautiful stars of his show. This is a rare country of origin UK quad from the film's first release in 1960. It has been adapted for use in Ireland with the title changed (using hand painted snipe) and a few discreet censorship changes to the costumes of the more scantily dressed performers.
