Incredibly rare poster from 1911, Posters of this age date from the earliest days of cinema and were produced in tiny quantities - this is almost certainly the only surviving example of this particular poster. Royal England, A Story of an Empire's Throne, the 1911 A.E. Coleby & Leo Stormont English silent historical royalty melodrama ("As presented and recited to by Leo. Stormont at the London Hippodrome"; about the history of British royalty from Alfred the Great to Edward VII) Note that as this film was silent, it was narrated live by Leo Stormont which meant that it could only be shown in one cinema at a time.
