British film from 1936 featuring Laurence Olivier's first cinematic Shakespeare, David Lean as editor, J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan author) credited for "treatment" of the play and Jack Cardiff (the great cinematographer) as camera operator. A dream team of British talent. This is from the 1949 US re-release (which had the best artwork of any year) rolled in superb condition.
