Flesh Gordon (Space Wars)

A parody of the original serial Flash Gordon (1936) with a strong sexual campy flavor. Not only is there nudity any time there is any excuse for it, but many of the scenes are staged as closely as possible to the old serial shots. Released as 'Flesh Gordon' elsewhere in 1974, it was released for the first time as 'Space Wars' in Japan in 1978 to cash in on the Star Wars (1977) bandwagon. This poster was designed by Seito as a parody of the Japanese Star Wars poster, also designed by Seito! This poster is from the film's first release in Japan. Rolled in excellent condition.
