Battleship Potemkin

The classic 1925 Eisenstein Russian Revolution military war film is considered to be one of the greatest movies ever made and includes the famous Odessa steps sequence. This rare Polish poster dates from 1954 in the post WW2 cold war period in communist Poland and depicts the Potemkin in rough waters, courtesy of artist Zygmunt Anczykowski. Linen backed by Dario Casadei in Vancouver it presents in excellent condition with minor retouching to fold lines and a small tear which can only be seen in on very close examination.
