Captain America, the 1944 Elmer Clifton & John English comic book crime fighting fantasy superhero serial ("Based on the Character appearing in Captain America Comics". "A Republic Serial in 15 Chapters") starring Dick Purcell (in the title role as Captain America), Lorna Gray, Lionel Atwill, Charles Trowbridge, and John Hamilton (best remembered for his role as Perry White in "The Adventures of Superman" TV series). Note that this was the very first Marvel Comics character to be turned into a movie. This is from the first post WWII release in Egypt in the 50's and uses the same artwork as the 1944 US first release posters. Linen backed in superb condition with retouching to borders.
