Dancing Pirate (1936) - Original US one-sheet Movie Poster

About this poster

Original Dancing Pirate (1936) movie poster. Format: US 1 sht 27"x41". Grade: Fine/Near Mint on linen.

The poster for this 1936 classic had extraordinarily bright colours and deliberately so because this was the first feature length musical to be filmed in the three strip Technicolor process. Set in 1820s California, the action filled romance stars Charles Collins in his film debut, and Rita Hayworth makes an appearance as one of The Royal Casino Dancers.-This poster dates from the 1936 first release and is linen backed in wonderful condition with just a little airbrushing to the borders.
