Up the Junction
The junction. It's rough, raw and randy! So what's a bird like this doing up there? Gritty British urban drama from 1968 set and filmed on location in and around Clapham Junction. The central character, Polly, yearns for real earthy genuine living and crosses the bridge from upper-class Chelsea to the working-class slums of Battersea and Clapham to experience freedom from upper class social mores and pretension. A great film with finely judged social commentary. Nowadays Clapham and Battersea is populated by bankers and lawyers... Revised social commentary needed? This is a UK country-of-origin poster from the first release in 1968, tri-folded in excellent condition.
