Original Movie Poster - Fast Lady (original concept artwork)
This is the original concept artwork in oils by Renato Fratini that formed the basis of the superb trompe l'oeil image for the UK six sheet poster. Renato Fratini was one of the so-called 'italian mafia' group of artists that was recruited from Italy by the Downton agency to spearhead a resurgence in UK poster design in the early 60's. At the time, Italy led the world in movie posters, producing some of the most stunning artwork ever seen in cinemas and Soho's Downton agency headhunted some of their stars to revitalise the UK. The title of the film 'The Fast Lady', refers to the name given to the vintage Bentley at the centre of the film's plot making this a unique piece of art for any Bentley enthusiast as well as any movie buff.Fast Lady (original concept artwork) - Features| Features |
