Super rare UK advance poster in the smaller DC (Double Crown) size. One of the best gangster films of all time, it's certainly the cornerstone of Michael Caine's extremely distinguished career, with the great man proving icy, formidable and utterly unforgettable as Jack Carter. This poster is from the film's first release in the UK, linen backed in excellent condition. Very close examination reveals a small amount of text bleed thro' from writing on the back of the poster to the right of the figure. This has been expertly addressed during restoration and is now almost impossible to see.
