About this poster

Original Forbidden Planet (1956) movie poster. Format: US 1 sht 27"x41". Grade: Fine/Near Mint.

One of the most sought after images in cinema history, this is the much sought after first release 1956 US one sheet featuring Robby the Robot. Walter Pidgeon. Leslie Nielson. Captain Adams and his crew investigate the colony on Altair-4 to find two survivors and a deadly secret. This poster is in superb condition, folded with bright colour and minimal wear, it is now rolled as the fold lines have almost disappeared. One very small edge repair on the top edge, otherwise completely unretored. Probably the best example I've ever seen.
