Gone with the Wind (1939) - Original UK promo Movie Poster

About this poster

Original Gone with the Wind (1939) movie poster. Format: UK promo 11” x 13”. Grade: Near Mint.

Rare UK promotional display card. For a brief period in the mid 1960's, some cinemas gave away this kind of small format card for display in local shops in exchange for a pair of free tickets to the film for the shop owners. It was a short lived advertising strategy that failed to catch on but provides us with an interesting alternative design for the film. Rolled cardstock in excellent condition from the 1960's re-release.
