British film-maker Ken Loach captures the hopelessness of the British industrial worker in this film about a small boy who tries to instill hope in his life by raising and nurturing a small Kestrel bird. The film remains a brilliant bit of social commentary - an area in which Loach excelled. This is a rare country of origin UK quad, linen backed in excellent condition with very minor retouching to the corners only.
