Unapologetic rendering of an acid trip, told with a great deal of nervy style. A square television director (Peter Fonda), trying his best to look like a nerd in a V-neck sweater takes LSD and drops out. Screenplay was by Jack Nicholson. The Trip is an important early episode in the portrayal of drug culture on screen, two years before Easy Rider. From the first release in 1967, linen backed in excellent condition with minor retouching to fold lines only.
